About Grove Classic Motorcycles

Grove Classic Motorcycles Ltd (GCM) was established in November 2000 by Mike Fotherby, when he bought Ken Gardener's long-established Velocette retail business. Mike expanded the business in 2002, acquiring Simon Goodman's interest in Velocette parts, which also included the stock formerly owned by Geoff Dodkin.

Our Passion
GCM specialises in spare parts for all Velocette models from 1930 to 1971, including the early GTP two-strokes, up to the last of the Thruxtons.

Our stock list is extremely comprehensive and we have the advantage of owning a significant amount of presswork tooling which manufactures to original specification. This means that items such as mudguards, stays, shims, etc, can be supplied to exact standards and at very competitive prices.

Customer service is at the heart of our operation. We are happy to give technical guidance and advice and our significant investment in stock, means that orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours.

Old Bike Mart commented:
" .... It's very reassuring that, even after almost three decades, with the demand for the Hall Green product still running high and their desireability commanding an ever increasing market value, there is an enthusiastic, reliable and high quality parts service available for them. For that we must be grateful to the likes of Grove Classic Motorcycles Ltd."
