Grove Classic Motorcycles - Our Story

How We Began

Before Grove Classic Motorcycles, there was the long-established Velocette retail business, owned and run by Ken Gardener. In the November of 2000, Mike Fotherby bought the business from Ken, and thus, Grove Classic Motorcycles Limited was born.

In 2002 Mike acquired the help of Simon Goodman and his knowledge and interest in Velocette parts to expand the business. Mike also took on the Velocette stock of Geoff Dodkin, and Grove Classic began to grow.

Far Reaching Product Range

Grove Classic is home to an extensive range of Velocette parts and spares. We stock everything the Velocette owner might need, including parts for a wide range of models from 1930 to 1971. We also own and operate our own presswork tooling. This allows us to make a variety of parts such as shims, mudguards etc. to original and exacting standards.
